Approach to the Course
Most often people shy away from engaging with what they term as ‘politics’ as they view it with indignity and disdain. This course will help you see it through the lens of engagements between people which are nuanced and shaped. Through this course you will explore the resources you need to be effective and impactful in any engagement rather than feeling disempowered and discounted. We refer to these resources as Leadership Orientations. Orientations are characteristics or traits.
This course will help you become self-aware and gain insights on your leadership orientations to be politically savvy. You will learn the leadership abilities that help you be impactful and gain traction on your thoughts with others. Leadership abilities are the combined applying of the leadership orientations learnt.
Your course will break down the human engagement into simple elements that can be recognised, practised and learnt to become being interpersonally skilled to mobilise juniors, peers, seniors and other stakeholders.
How is the learning structured?
This course is designed to help you uncover the dimensions mentioned above by breaking it down to learning units that are bite size and easy to consume.
