Ramesh has over 30 years of experience in the Banking Financial Services and Insurance Sector. During the last decade he has held top leadership positions across Institutions such as ICICI Bank, Dhanlaxmi Bank and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.
He brings an unique blend of the country’s largest Public Sector Bank(SBI – 8 years) , New Private Sector Bank (ICICI Bank – 13 years) along with Old Private Sector Bank (Dhanlaxmi Bank) as well as MNC Bank (ADCB India). He also brings with him experience across Corporate Credit, Retail and Branch Banking, Operations, Quality and Training. All through his career, apart from business leadership roles, Ramesh has been a part of the capability building strategy of the organisations and has done significant work with building the leadership pipeline among Branch Managers and middle level managers preparing them for taking on higher responsibilities. At ADCB India, heading Retail Banking, was instrumental in creating tailored products for the Non-Resident diaspora. He was also part of the MANCOM team responsible for strategy and growth of franchise in India and building Retail business through multiple channels. He also set up Central Operations at ADCB India encompassing Central Processing Unit, Corporate Banking Operations, Trade Operations, Treasury Operations, & Retail Asset Operations.
